A couple of Collingwood students are headed to the national science fair.

Students at Pretty River Academy took home 31 awards at the recent Simcoe County Science and Technology Fair.

And two of the school's current students and one alumnus will make up half of Team Simcoe which is headed to the Canada Wide Science Fair next month in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

The winners at the county fair include the study of a plant that can treat Diabetes in aboriginal populations in Canada's north and another project examined human posture in the age of technology.

These two projects will be vying for more prizes at the national fair in May.
