The owners of the Ascent Aerial Park in Sauble Beach hope to introduce "a first" in Canada this summer.
Park co-owner Mike Robinson was at a South Bruce Peninsula council meeting recently, to give councillors an update on the additional attractions the park will feature this summer.
Robinson says the new feature attraction will be something called the Sky Rider which is a curved-rail zip line and the first of its kind in Canada.
He says, "You'll be dangling below a support rail. You'll leave from the top of the tower. You'll zip around and flip over the building and come on back to the second level of the tower."
In addition, Robinson is introducing axe throwing which he calls "darts on steroids" and for the smaller children, a mining game where they'll be given a bag of sand to sift through and discover gems or fossils that they can take home.
He says there will be other new attractions as well to help with the "retro" view of Sauble Beach this summer.
The owners of Ascent Aerial Park are the people that want to bring in The Waves floating waterpark to the community as well.
