Fixing Swim Registration Problems

Collingwood | by Catherine Thompson

The town of Collingwood has come up with a temporary solution to problems with registering your kids for swim programs.

The town of Collingwood has come up with a temporary solution to problems with registering your kids for swim programs.

The town says issues have been caused by the failure of the current registration software.

A new program will be put in place and ready for the Fall swim registration.

For Spring swim lessons, registration will be taken offline and handled directly by town staff.

The town says while some people were waiting in line, many others were trying to register online and the failure of the software system affected everyone equally.

That's why the process is starting again from scratch tomorrow (Tuesday, March 26) starting at 5 P.M.
You can do this in person at Centennial Aquatic Centre. Then online registration will open at 7 P.M. on Tuesday.

Phone registration opens on Wednesday at 1:30 P.M.
