Man Assaulted In Driveway By Unknown Suspect

OPP are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted a Walkerton resident.

South Bruce OPP are asking for the public's help in finding an unknown suspect who attacked a man in his own driveway.

Police say it happened back on March 1st on Centennial Drive in Walkerton at about 11:30 p.m.

According to OPP the suspect was there after getting his snowmobile stuck in a snow bank.

They say the suspect and the victim got into a verbal dispute and and the suspect hit the victim in the face.

While South Bruce OPP were responding, the suspect returned to the address with another man, took the snowmobile and were last seen riding north towards Mary Street in Walkerton.

Police say the victim sustained serious injuries as a result of the assault.

The suspect was described as a white man, 20-25 years old, clean shaven and wearing a dark multi-coloured winter jacket and a baseball cap.

South Bruce OPP are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.
