A women's business pitch contest is expanding for the event's third year.
Huron County's third edition of the contest will include a segment for ten children from grades 4 through 8 to pitch their business idea, for a chance at $500.
Communications and & Marketing Officer Katie Marshall says the women's pitch will follow, where the winner among seven entrepreneurs will win $1,500.
The first edition of the contest saw the operator of Goderich's Sunset SUP capture the night's top prize, while the owner of the town's Sweet Love Eats won the competition the second year.
Marshall says those in attendance will vote for the winners.
Artisan soup will be provided by Sweet Love Eats.
Doors open for the pitch competition Thursday, March 20 at 6:00 p.m., with the kid's pitches beginning at 7:00 p.m., and the women's pitches starting at 8:00 p.m..
Entry is $7, or $6 if you bring your own mug for soup.
