Sacred Heart Starts Strong at OFSAA

Crusaders 2-0 on Day 1, Kincardine drops its two games

Carter Buehlow scored twice as part of a third-period rally as the Sacred Heart Crusaders overcame a 2-1 deficit to defeat Osgoode Township High School 4-2 at the OFSAA "A/AA" Boys Hockey Tournament in Kincardine, Ripley, Lucknow and Tiverton on Tuesday.

Jeremiah Lemay and Kyle Durrer also scored for Sacred Heart.

Jack Colton and Nathan Latulippe had the goals for Osgoode.

Sacred Heart (2-0) closes out its preliminary round at 8 a.m. this morning against Belle River (2-0), with the winner securing top spot in Pool C.

Kyle Durrer scored what stood as the game-winner late in the first period as the Sacred Heart Crusaders downed E.S.C. Hearst High School 4-1 to open their OFSAA "A/AA" Tournament in Kincardine, Ripley, Lucknow and Tiverton on Tuesday.

Dawson Fahrer, Clayton Dietz and Jeremiah Lemay also scored for Sacred Heart.

Mason Wesley had the lone goal for E.S.C. Hearst.

Corpus Christi 13 Kincardine 3

Joshua Belgrave scored five goals and James Theodoropoulos added a hat trick as Corpus Christi defeated the host Kincardine District Knights 13-3 at the OFSAA "A/AA" Tournament in Kincardine, Ripley, Lucknow and Tiverton on Tuesday.

Carson Boettinger scored twice for Kincardine and Ethan Vollmer also tallied.

Kincardine (0-2) closes out its preliminary round this morning against St. Joseph's at 10 a.m.

Jean Vanier 5 Kincardine 2

Eric Lalonde scored the game-winner just over five minutes into the third period as Jean Vaniver C.H.S. defeated the Kincardine District Knights 5-2 at the OFSAA "A/AA" Tournament in Kincardine, Ripley, Lucknow and Tiverton on Tuesday.

Eddie Maclean, Jake Ventrella, Ryan Mackay and Tyler Perrigo also scored for Jean Vanier.

Jordan Beisel and Liam Colhoun tallied for Kincardine.
