Easter hasn't arrived yet, but at least one member of Goderich Town Council is looking toward summer.
Councillor Stephen Tamming is concerned about the number of large recreational vehicles that park along Cove Road, and the locations they're picking to stop.
Many park at the end of the road, by Rotary Cove Beach.
He is concerned among other things, about the ability of emergency vehicles to get where they're needed.
Tamming hopes that Council will discuss the Cove Road parking issue, and possibly suggest a designated location where RVs can park.
He admits it's late in the season to to take much action, but hopes that staff can be directed to put together a report.
Tamming hopes that if a staff report does come forward, that it could serve as the basis of a by-law covering beachfront parking of large vehicles.
