Stolen Pick Up Used to Steal Gas

OPP say a burgundy Dodge RAM pick up was reported stolen in Hanover and seen at two gas stations.

A stolen pick-up truck may be connected to a pair of gas thefts.

Grey County OPP received a call about a burgundy Dodge RAM pickup truck that was stolen in Hanover on Sunday.

A vehicle matching that description was seen at the Esso station on Main Street East in Dundalk that afternoon just before 3.

A man pumped $94 worth of gas into the pick-up truck then left the gas station without paying for the fuel.

A pick-up truck matching the same description was seen at the Springmount Esso at the corner of Highways 6 and 21 Monday afternoon just before 3.

$57 worth of gas was pumped there and the driver fled without paying.

Investigators with Grey County OPP believe that two thefts are connected.
