Saugeen Shores Police say they arrested a 30 year old Saugeen Shores Woman on February 24, after police caught her driving with a suspended license.
Police say the woman was known to police and a scene investigation revealed that the woman was in possession of an imitation firearm. She was then charged accordingly and later released with an court appearance.
The next day, February 25, the same woman attended a Port Elgin retail store where police say she tried on a coat and left the store still wearing it. Officers located the woman at a nearby parking lot and placed her under arrest.
She was later released with an appearance notice to attend court. As a result of both incidents the woman has been charged with: Possession of an imitation firearm for a dangerous purpose, Driving while Under suspension and Theft Under $5000.
