Plunge Raises Over $27,000

The Shelburne Police Polar Plunge on Family Day raised thousands of dollars for Special Olympics.

The Shelburne Police Polar Plunge for Special Olympics was a huge success this year.

The Family Day event took place during Shelbrr Fest at Fiddle Park.

The event raised $27,338 this year, beating last year's total of $19,000.

Country 105 had a team entered, and raised $580 for the cause.

The water in the pool dipped to 30 degrees Fahrenheit, or -1 Celsius in time for the plunge.
