Five people face drug-related charges after police executed a search warrant at Saugeen First Nation.
Provincial Police say the OPP Grey Bruce Community Street Crime Unit with the assistance of Huron Perth Community Street Crime Unit, Emergency Response Team and Bruce Peninsula OPP carried out the warrant at about 7 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
OPP say all five people brought into custody were arrested without incident and will appear in Walkerton court on Feb. 27.
The accused face drug possession related charges for substances such as fentanyl, oxycodone, methamphetamine, synthetic cannabis (nabilone) and magic mushrooms (psilocybin).
The five people charged are 44-year-old Samuel George of Forest, 48-year-old Todd Parsons of Saugeen First Nation, 49-year-old Casey Ritchie of Saugeen First Nation, 25-year-old Jesslyn Ritchie of Saugeen First Nation and 35-year-old Clayton Thompson of Saugeen First Nation.
