Clinton | by Peter Jackson

OPP say spring-loaded pocket knife found during vehicle stop in Clinton.

Outstanding warrants for alleged traffic violations has led to a weapons-related charge against a Central Huron man.

Huron OPP say they pulled over a vehicle on Orange Street North in Clinton on Tuesday for a suspected traffic offence, and learned he was wanted on similiar charges in London.

During the arrest, police discovered he was carrying a spring-assisted pocket knife.

The 41 year-old suspect will be in Goderich Court on March 11th, to answer a charge of possession of a prohibited weapon.
