OPP are investigating two break and enters that happened in Grey Highlands and Meaford on Tuesday.
Police say just before noon yesterday, unknown suspects forcibly entered a residence on Grey Road 40.
The resident heard a crashing sound and called out thinking it was her husband. OPP say she proceeded to find out what the sound was and discovered the front door had been breached.
Police say a white car was observed exiting the driveway before heading eastbound on Grey Road 40.
OPP then received a report of a second day-time break-in at residence on 7th Line in the Municipality of Meaford.
Police say unknown suspects forcibly entered the residence sometime between 8:40 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
Thieves made off with a large steel security box containing personal documents, a flat screen TV, jewelry and booze.
Police say the investigation continues with the assistance of the OPP Forensic Identification Unit - Mount Forest.
