Number Of Mumps Cases Confirmed

Second Collingwood school sends an alert home to parents.

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is painting a clearer picture of the number of kids in Collingwood who have the mumps.

The health unit says there are four lab confirmed cases, plus one probable case.

The students are from Connaught Public School and St. Mary's Catholic School.

Symptoms of mumps include fever, headache, muscle pain, fatigue, loss of appetite and swollen and painful glands.
