OPP have charged two men - one from Huntsville, the other from Orillia, after drivers involved in a collision on Brunel Road Sunday fled the scene.
Police say that at 11:27 pm Sunday, Huntsville OPP investigated the collision which involved two cars.
It happened in the area of 2158 Brunel Road.
Both drivers involved fled the scene. Police say they located the males a short time later.
19-year-old Justin Kirou-Griffiths of Huntsville was arrested and charged with failing to stop after an accident and dangerous operation of a vehicle.
20-year-old Mark Griffiths of Orillia Ontario was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, Over 80, failing to stop after an accident, failing to notify about a change of address, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and being a Novice driver with blood alcohol concentration above 0.
Both are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville on Wednesday, March 6th.
