Police Looking for Lottery Thieves

Fordwich | by Peter Jackson

One man distracted a store employee while the other stole $1,000 worth of scratch-off tickets.

Huron OPP continue to look for two suspects, in connection with a theft from a Howick Township convenience store.

Police say thieves knew what they were looking for, in a Howick Township convenience store robbery.

OPP say two men entered the store on Patrick Street in Fordwich last weekend, and one used a distraction technique to keep the clerk occupied.

While he was doing this, investigators say the other suspect stole around $1,000 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets.

Police are searching for two men in their late 20s or early 30s, who were last seen walking south along Fordwich Line.

There were no injuries in the incident.
