The village of New Lowell in Clearview Township is hosting the annual Sunnidale Winterama this weekend.
This year's theme is "Channel Your Flannel - Calling all Lumberjacks and Jills".
The winter themed festival has been running since 1975.
On Friday night there is spaghetti supper, firefighters' auction and beard contest starting at 4:30 PM at the New Lowell Legion.
Burning of the Green and Fireworks starts at 7 PM at New Lowell Recreation Park.
On Saturday, one of the highlights is the parade which goes at 10:30 am followed by the opening ceremonies at 11 a.m. and lots of activities in the park.
There is a soup off, where you get to try a number of soups for a small fee, at the New Lowell firehall from 11:30 am to 2 P.M.
On Sunday there is a breakfast at the legion and the Morgan Taylor Memorial Snowmobile Fun Run with registration at the New Lowell Legion at 10:00 am.
Entrance to the festival is a two dollar button.
