Creative driving

Innisfil | by Ian MacLennan

Just because the passenger in your vehicle is seated doesn't mean it's always legal.

Just because your passenger in the vehicle is seated doesn't mean it's always legal.

It all depends as to what they are sitting on.

South Simcoe Police stopped a vehicle on Innisfil Beach Road near Highway 400 yesterday(THURS) and handed the driver a $240 ticket for allowing a passenger to travel on a home-made box for a seat.

The actual charge is passenger failing to occupy position with a seat belt.
