Man Wanted in Police Altercation Arrested

OPP say Jeremy Jason Hogg of Hanover was apprehended by police in Sudbury.

A Hanover man that was the subject of a police manhunt has been arrested.

South Bruce OPP say 23-year-old Jeremy Jason Hogg was apprehended by police Thursday in Sudbury.

An arrest warrant was issued after a pick up truck was seen on a property on Greenock-Elderslie Townline in Arran-Elderslie On January 10th.

The vehicle struck two OPP cruisers and an officer as it fled from the scene.

The officer that was hit by the fleeing pick up fired his weapon towards the vehicle in an effort to stop it.

OPP recovered the black Dodge 3500 pick up that was found abandoned along the Howick Minto Townline on January 13th.

The suspect is being held in custody and will have a future court appearance in Walkerton.
