Man Charged in Fail to Remain

Orangeville Police have charged an Alton man following a collision a week ago.

Orangeville Police have charged a man after he failed to remain at the scene of a collision last week.

Authorities say the 45-year old Alton man was involved in the collision at the intersection of C-Line and Diane Drive on January 19th.

They say a black Dodge Caravan was struck by a black Cadillac SRX at around 3:45pm.

Both drivers were told to go to the Police Station but the driver of the Cadillac never did.

A media release was issued about the incident with the victim posting a picture of the Cadillac to social media.

OPS have charged Michael William Alexander with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and several Highway Traffic Act charges.
