UPDATE Police Release Names of Murder Victims

One of the victims was slated to be sentenced in a drug smuggling ring in Montreal.

An update on Tuesday's double homicide in Collingwood.

Collingwood and Blue Mountains OPP have released the identities of the victims.

They are 52-year-old Dean Copkov and 42-year-old Donovan Bass, both from Wasaga Beach.

According to the Toronto Sun, Copkov is a stuntman and was to have been in Montreal next week to be sentenced after being convicted in a drug smuggling case.

Police went to a home on at Georgian Blue (formerly known as Matthew Way) around 1:30 Tuesday morning about a report of an altercation.

Some residents say they heard shots being fired from inside the home.

Investigators say they are still looking for a third unidentified person who was seen accompanying the victims to the home and later fled the scene.

57-year-old Cameron Gardiner was arrested and charged with two counts of second degree murder and is scheduled to be in a Barrie court next week.
