Pedestrian Injured In Hit And Run

Owen Sound police are looking for a driver of a red car.

Owen Sound Police are investigating a hit and run after a red vehicle hit a young woman in front of the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre Wednesday.

Police say it happened at about 3 p.m.

The girl, who was treated and released for minor injuries was said to be using the crosswalk.

Police say the driver made a right turn at the intersection and collided with the young woman then continued eastbound along 10th Street East.
