Rottweiler and Owner Being Sought in Dog Biting Incident

Sauble Beach | by Ken Hashizume

A man was bitten on the hand by a dog who was at-large at the time.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit are asking for the public's help in locating the owner of a dog that was involved in a biting incident in Sauble Beach.

A man and a woman were walking along 3rd Avenue South on the afternoon of January 4th around 2:30 when they approached a large, male, black and brown Rottweiler sitting on a lawn.

The man came up to the dog and tried to pet him, and that was when the dog bit the man on his hand.

The dog was not wearing a collar or leashed, and was at-large at the time.

The health unit wants to confirm that the dog does not have rabies.

If anyone knows this dog or its owner, they are asked to contact the Grey Bruce Health Unit.
