Sutherlands Win Silver Stick

Nathan Dunkley scored twice for the Knights who won 3 straight games over the weekend and continue to lead the Western Conference.

Billy Moskal ( short-handed ), underage Antonio Stranges and Liam Foudy also scored  for London.

Jonathan Yantsis and Riley Damiani replied for the Rangers

Owen Sound native Lucas Pfeil took the loss in goal for Kitchener turning in a 34 save performance

 

Storm 8 67's 4

Captain Isaac Ratcliffe had a hat trick for the Storm.

Former Owen Sound Attack captain Nick Suzuki had 4 assists for Guelph while another former Attack defender Sean Durzi added two goals.

Nate Schnarr, Liam Hawel and Keegan Stevenson also scored in the lopsided victory.

Marco Rossi, Tye Felhaber, Jack Quinn and Graeme Clarke scored for the 67's
 


Generals 4 Otters 3

Import Nando Eggenberger scored the eventual game winner for the Generals who have won 3 in a row.

Danyk Drouin, Tyler Tullio and overage Brandon Saigeon also scored for the Generals.

Danial Singer had 2 goals for the Otters while Brendan Hoffmann added a single.

The loss snapped Erie's 4 game win streak.

Former General Cole Ceci took the loss in goal for Erie.

David Levin, newcomer Adam Ruzicka, Blake Murray, Ryan O’Bonsawin, Quinton Byfield, Liam Ross and Shane Bulitka scored for the Wolves who have won 3 straight

Overage Matt Brassard, Kirill Maksimov and Akil Thomas scored for the IceDogs


Frontenacs 2 Battalion 1

Brendan Bonello stopped 56 shots 

Kallaway Mercer and Tyler Burnie scored for Kingston

Justin Brazeau had the lone goal for the Battalion (21-19-3).

Nick Garrett and Gavin Downs scored 1 each and Carson Yost scored twice for Subaru



Bantam Silver Stick

The Owen Sound Kunkel Bus Lines Junior Attack fell 5-2 to the Cambridge Hawks in the final of the International Silver Stick finals in Port Huron, Michigan on Sunday.

Jaden Whitlock and Jon Elzinga scored for Kunkel Bus Lines in the loss.

Owen Sound downed the Midland, Michigan North Stars 9-3 in the semifinals

Jacob Duncan scored three, Cole Gowan scored two and Jon Elzinga, Curtis Arnold, Ethan Kerr, and Matt Boulter had singles in the win.

In the quarterfinals, Owen Sound downed the Burlington Eagles Gold team 2-1. 

Spencer Davidson scored both Owen Sound goals.

The Junior Attack went 3 & 0 in pool play. 

On Saturday afternoon they downed the Lancaster Pennsylvania Firebirds 5-2. 

Elliot Thomson and Spencer Davidson each netted a pair, while Jon Elzinga added one.

On Friday evening Owen Sound defeated, the Nickel City Sharks from Sudbury 5-2. 

Curtis Arnold scored two, while Cole Gowan, Nolan Andrews and Jacob Duncan added singles.

Owen Sound opened the tournament on Friday morning with a 3-1 win over the Cambridge Hawks. 

Curtis Arnold scored two, while Cole Gowan netted one in the win.



OMHA Minor Bantam

The Owen Sound Harold Sutherland Construction Major Peewees won the International Silver Stick at Port Huron, Michigan.
