An Owen Sound man that had been reported missing has been found safe in Northern Ontario.

54-year-old Christopher Martin King hadn't been seen or heard from since December 29th.

They are thanking the public for their assistance in locating him.

Owen Sound Police are looking for assistance in locating a 54-year-old man who has not been heard from since last week.

City police say Christopher Martin King last had contact with a family member on Dec. 29, 2018.

Police say King has also missed medical appointments over the past week, and has not been seen by neighbours.

Officers say family members are concerned for King's well-being as it is out of character for him to not be in contact on a near daily basis.

King is described as a white man standing 5-foot-8 tall with a medium build, and greying medium-length hair.

Anyone who observes King or may know his whereabouts is asked to contact the Owen Sound Police Service at 519-376-1234.
