What began as a one-time event is now an annual New Year's Eve tradition in Owen Sound.
The Beckett Family will be performing at the Roxy Theatre on Monday for two shows, a matinee at 2 and one in the evening at 7:30.
Lindsay Beckett says they first performed on New Year's Eve with a Y2K event at Sarawak Hall followed by a dance there in 2001.
She says they decided to move their shows to the Roxy Theatre because it was something different and their relationship with the venue has grown over the years.
Beckett says it will be a traditional country music show with fiddles and dancing.
She says they will also have two special guests at their shows, singer Todd Nolan and well-known steel guitar player Doug Johnson, both are Canadian Country Music Award winners.
Beckett says 2019 will be a busy year for her as she will be taking part in a couple of theatre productions with Mirvish Productions in Toronto.
She says the first is the Last Ship starring former Police bassist and singer Sting, and the other is the critically-acclaimed musical Come From Away.
Tickets for the New Year's Eve Show with the Beckett Family can be purchased at the Roxy Theatre box office.
