South Bruce Peninsula Mayor Janice Jackson feels Council accomplished a lot in 2018.
Jackson says when she reflects on the past year, she is thrilled with what the Town did.
She says having three of the five on Council returning after October's elections showed that Council was on the right track.
Jackson says the Town spent the last four years preparing for growth.
She says there was a considerable amount of money being put into a sewage treatment plant in Wiarton to accommodate the growth.
Jackson says the Town was able to get out of the airport business selling their half of the Wiarton-Keppel International Airport to the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
She says she was not comfortable with the continuing losses and a $5 Million upgrade of the runway lights.
