Ice sculptures celebrating the history of sport, as Rogers Hometown Hockey also visits Collingwood.

The ice sculptures are back in downtown Collingwood.

The annual Frozen In Time Festival starts today (Friday) along Hurontario Street.

There are more than 25 ice sculptures celebrating the history of sport.

The ice sculptors will also be doing special carving sessions as well as the ice carvers' showdown at the Battle of the Chainsaws on Saturday and Sunday.

And back this year is the 40 foot long double ice slide beside town hall.

There is also a celebrity sledge hockey game on Friday at 7 P.M. at Eddie Bush Memorial Arena.

This year the Collingwood Frozen In Time Festival coincides with Rogers Hometown Hockey which takes place downtown on December 29 and 30 (Sat and Sun).
