MP Larry Miller pleased Bill Blair is taking time to hear from rural Canadians

Canada's Minister of Border Security and Organized Crime Reduction will visit Grey Bruce in February.

Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MP Larry Miller says Bill Blair will be at the Durham Community Centre from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 3, for consultations on firearms-related topics.

"I am very pleased that we have finally be able to find a time for Minister Blair to come to the riding and hear from local firearms owners," Miller says in a statement. "... This is an important topic for many residents in the riding and it is important that this government has an opportunity to hear their concerns"

Miller's office says the Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MP first reached out to Blair in September with an invitation to hear from rural Canadians on the government's firearms policies.
