Inquest Resumes Into Chepstow Man's Death At Goderich Mine

Coroner's inquest into Darcy Clancy's death resumes in Goderich

An inquest has resumed into the death of a Chepstow man at Goderich's Compass Minerals salt mine.

36 year old Darcy Clancy died in hospital on March 18th, 2017 from injuries sustained while working in the mine.

The inquest into Clancy's death began November 13th of 2018, but a notice from Dr. David Eden, Regional Supervising Coroner for Inquests, says the inquest has been adjourned.

Dr. Geoffrey Bond will preside as inquest coroner. Laura Grant will be counsel to the coroner.

An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act, and more information is expected when the probe resumes.
