11 Charges Laid, Following Courtright Stand-Off

OPP lay charges, following two-day stand-off at home south of Sarnia.

Lambton OPP have laid 11 charges against a man allegedly involved in an armed standoff with police in Courtright.

Investigators say they were called to a Councillors Street home late Friday night, after they were told about a man inside with a firearm.

They say the man surrendered peacefully late Saturday morning.

The 32 year-old accused from St. Clair Township remains in OPP custody on eight weapons-related counts.

He also faces two counts fail to comply with a probation order, and one count of possession of methamphetamine.

He's due for a video appearance in Sarnia Court on Thursday.
