The Owen Sound Attack head into the Christmas break on a 5-game winning streak.
The Attack were led by Aidan Dudas who scored twice and added 2 assists in a 6-3 victory over the 67's in Ottawa Saturday afternoon.
Each team scored in the opening five minutes of the game, then Owen Sound capitalized on a 5-on-3 power play midway through the period.
Dudas and Brady Lyle scored on both ends of the powerplay to go up 3-1.
Ottawa were trailing 4-1 heading into the third when on two occasions attempted to make a comeback only to have the Attack reply each time the 67's scored.
Kaleb Pearson (1 goal, 2 assists), Sean Durzi (1 goal, 1 assist), and Kevin Hancock (2 assists) also had multi-point games for the Attack as did Noel Hoefenmayer (1 goal, 1 assist), Mitchell Hoelscher (1 goal, 2 assists), and Austin Keating (3 assists) for the 67's
Andrew Maclean was again in net for the Attack (19-11-1-2) and made 31 saves while Cedric Andree stopped 18 shots for the 67's (25-5-3-1).
Owen Sound were 3-for-5 with the man advantage, Ottawa did not scored on 4 opportunities.
The next game for the Attack is Friday December 28th when the take on the Sting in Sarnia.
The Attack are back home on Saturday December 29th hosting the Kitchener Rangers.
