No "W" for the London Knights.
Andrew Maclean made 42 saves as the Owen Sound Attack defeated the Knights 5-1 Saturday night in OHL action.
The win by the Attack snaps London's 15-game winning streak and 18 straight games with at least a point.
The Knights' last regulation loss prior to last night was October 19th against the Oshawa Generals.
After a scoreless first period, the Attack opened with 3 goals in a span of 3:18 in the second period from Markus Phillips, Kevin Hancock (1 goal, 1 assist), and Kaleb Pearson for a 3-0 lead.
Alex Formenton and Zachary Roberts exchanged goals before the end of the period for a 4-1 Owen Sound lead.
Jordan Kooy made 23 saves for the Knights (21-5-2-0).
Hancock and Nick Suzuki (2 assists) each had two points for the Attack (16-11-1-2).
Power plays saw Owen Sound go 1-for-3, London were 1-for-4.
The next game for the Attack is this Tuesday night when they host the Guelph Storm at the JD McArthur Arena.
