Police have charged two men after recovering a stolen shotgun.
Huron County OPP say on December 2nd, a man was returning to his car in a parking lot on Parsons Court in Goderich.
They say when the man got to his car he noticed one of the windows was smashed and a .12 gauge shotgun was missing.
Officers found other vehicles in the same parking lot were broken into.
Following an investigation, police received some information about the possible location of the stolen firearm.
On Monday, shortly before 9:00pm, officers searched a home on South Street in Goderich where they found the gun.
Two men, a 37-year old from Goderich and 17-year old from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh have been charged.
Both are facing charges of possession of a firearm obtained by crime and unauthorized possession of a firearm along with other charges.
While the investigation continues, police say anybody with further information is asked to contact Huron OPP or Crime Stoppers.
