Unemployment saw a slight increase in the region last month, but still remained the lowest in the province.
The Four County Labour Market Planning Board says the jobless rate hit 3.6 per cent in November for the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region, a 0.1 per cent increase from October.
The provincial unemployment rate held steady last month at 5.6 per cent.
Nationally, the jobless rate fell to 5.6 per cent -- the lowest in 40 years.
In Bruce, Grey, Huron and Perth counties the economy shaved 5,900 full-time jobs last month, while adding 1,600 part-time positions.
