Attempted Murder Arrests In Grey Highlands

Charges include attempted murder, aggravated assault, kidnapping, & robbery with a weapon.

Grey County  OPP have arrested and charged two men with attempted murder after an incident in Grey Highlands.

Police say they were called to a residence on Road 120 at about 11 Wednesday night where a man had been injured.

They arrested a man at the scene then with the help of the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and their Canine Unit, a second man was found and arrested.

22 year old Isaiah Morris of Southgate and 29 year old Punit Gandhi of Brampton are charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, kidnapping and forcible confinement, and robbery with a weapon.

Both have had a bail hearing and are being held in custody.

A court date has been scheduled for December 10th at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound.
