Several members from emergency services departments flexed their muscles in the 1st Annual Pull-a-Plane Challenge.
It was a fundraiser for the United Way of Bruce Grey.
The event saw four teams (Northern Bruce Peninsula Fire, South Bruce Peninsula Fire, Bruce County Paramedics, and Grey County/Bruce Peninsula OPP) compete in pulling a twin-engine plane 50 metres across a stretch of runway at Wiarton Keppel International Airport on Saturday.
The teams also pulled an OPP cruiser and a Bruce County ambulance prior to the main event.
The OPP team won the plane event while Northern Bruce Peninsula Fire Department were the combined fastest in all 3 events.
A total of $2,000 was raised from the event.
