Arrest In Wiarton Weapon Threat

OPP have arrested one man, two others are still at large.

One man has been arrested and two others are still at large in connection to an alleged threat made with a weapon in Wiarton.

At 11 at night on November 30th  Bruce peninsula OPP were called to a Berford Street apartment.

The complainant told police three men showed up with a weapon in hand and made a threat.

Police say There is no evidence to suggest there is any threat to the public.

Yesterday they arrested a 20 year old Georgian Bluffs man.

He has been charged with   Robbery with Intent,  Mischief, Fail to Comply with a Probation Order and Breach of Recognizance.

Police are still looking for two other men.

Suspect #1 - approximately 5'6" tall, skinny build

Suspect #2 - approximately 5'8" tall, skinny build, t-shirt with a colourful jersey over top, basketball shorts, flat brimmed cap, receding hair line

Following a bail hearing the accused was held in custody. His next court date will be December 6, 2018 in Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound.
