A traditional event is being held at Pinery Provincial Park near Grand Bend this week, leading to the attraction's closure for the next five days.
The Pinery this week is the scene of a traditional Indigenous deer harvest, which begins 30 minutes before sunrise and ends at noon each day.
Harvesters will use either rifles or archery equipment during the period, which runs from today (MON) through Friday.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says this is the latest in a number of such traditional deer harvests, and MNR staff will monitor the park's access points through the five days.
The Pinery will re-open to visitors on Saturday.
