An inquest into the death of a man at the Compass Minerals mine in Goderich is on hold.
In a press release from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, the investigation into 36 year old Darcy Clancy's death was adjourned.
The Chepstow man died March 18th, 2017, in an incident at the Goderich salt mine.
The inquest into Clancy's death began November 13th of 2018, but a notice from Dr. David Eden, Regional Supervising Coroner for Inquests, says the inquest has been adjourned.
An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act, and more information is expected when the probe resumes.
