Goderich Festival Of Lights Opens For 2018

Lighting of lights, Santa Claus Parade to open at town's Lions Harbour, Courthouse Park.

"Peppermint Twist" will be the theme of this year's Festival of Lights in the Town of Goderich.

Festival and Special Events Coordinator, Wanda Keith says nearly two-months of holiday activities kick off Friday, with the lighting of three important trees in Lions Harbour Park at 7:00 p.m..

The Angel Tree for children no longer with us, the MADD tree for those lost in drunk driving, and the Alzheimer Tree for those suffering from Alzheimers disease.

Saturday night will see festivities move to Courthouse Park, with season music on the performance stage at 6:30 p.m., and the lighting of the downtown lights at 7:00 p.m.

The Goderich Santa Claus Parade kicks off around The Square at 7:15 p.m..

The Goderich Makers Market will run November 17th, 24th, and December 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd at Square Brew, at 430 Parsons Court.

Santa will return to Suncoast Mall Sunday, from 12:00 - 5:00 p.m..
