Attack Take the First of Two from Otters

Hancock with 3 assists, Suzuki with 2 goals, Guzda stopped 18 shots for shutout

A great start to the weekend for the Owen Sound Attack.

The Attack blanked the visiting Erie Otters 4-0 Saturday night in the first of a back-to-back between the two clubs.

Owen Sound would get two goals late in the first period from Cade Robinson and Nick Suzuki (on the powerplay) for a 2-0 lead.

The Attack outshot the Otters 44-18 in the game never giving up more than 9 shots in any period.

Brady Lyle (1 goal, 1 assist) had the other Owen Sound goal (10-7-0-2).

Suzuki would finish with a pair of goals while Kevin Hancock collected 3 assists.

Mack Guzda stopped all 18 shots for the shutout.

Daniel Murphy made 40 saves in the loss for the Otters (8-9-1-0).

The second game of the weekend doubleheader goes Sunday afternoon at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre at 2.
