The Salvation Army has kicked off their 2018 winter coat drive, in Goderich and Clinton.

Lieutenant David Hickman says the Sally Ann is looking for new or gently used winter jackets for all ages.

Hickman says children and men's plus sizes are in particular need each year.

In previous seasons, he estimates 90 coats were distributed to those in need.

Winter coats can be dropped off at the Goderich or Clinton library, as well as the Salvation Army's Suncoast Citadel, at 309 Suncoast Drive East, in Goderich.

Coats can also be dropped off at the Goderich Bank of Montreal.

If you are in need of a winter coat, Hickman says you can pick them up in Clinton Monday, November 5th at the Salvation Army Family Services Office between 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Goderich pickups will be Tuesday, November 6th at Knox Presbyterian Church between 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
