Blue Mountains Candidate Q & A

Blue Mountains | by Claire McCormack

Bayshore Broadcasting asked municipal candidates where they stand on some key issues.

To help inform you on the platforms of candidates running for mayor and council in the upcoming municipal election, Bayshore Broadcasting News reached out to all those seeking office in municipalities across Grey and Bruce counties.

Each local municipality will be posted ahead of the election.

In The Town of the Blue Mountains, candidates responded to a series of questions posed by Bayshore Broadcasting News.

You can access the answers provided by each candidate by clicking on his or her name below. One candidate, Paul Mitchell, did not respond before the deadline.

Here are the questions we asked:

1/ Do you support Bricks-and-mortar marijuana stores in your municipality? Why? Why not?

2/ What would be your main priority if elected to council?

3/ In a growing local tourist economy, how would you address housing, development and environmental sustainability?
