No injuries after a major structure fire at a farm property in Kincardine.
Firefighters from the Kincardine Fire Department, Ripley-Huron Fire Department and Saugeen Shores Fire Department were all called to the secene of the blaze on Sideroad 10 in Kincardine just after 3 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Kincardine Fire says a utility building containing farm equipment and baled straw was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
Fire crews remained at the site for 19 hours, with four water tankers shuttling water to help contain the blaze.
Kincarine Fire and Emergency Services Chief Kent Padfield says two back-hoes were brought to the scene to remove straw from the structure so it could be extinguished.
No animals were in the building.
Damage estimates due to the fire loss are over $500,000.
The Office of the Fire Marshal is investigating.
