County of Huron Staff are working against the clock, to get some projects and initiatives finished before the October 22nd municipal election.
Chief Administrative Officer Meighan Wark says an updated list is presented to Council at each monthly meeting, to brief members on the progress of a variety of priorities.
Wark tells Country 104.9 News that the list contains specific items that Councillors have identified as priorities.
The County's economic Development department has completed all the tasks on its list, while Social and Property Services and Cultural Services are on their way to getting everything done.
Other departments' work is ongoing, with deadlines set for later this year.
Wark notes that with the election less than seven weeks away, staff are focusing on items and priorities that are relevant to the current Council.
