Ontario Power Generation (OPG) and Bruce Power have released their 2018 collaboration report Powering Ontario Together.
The report details collaboration, environmental benefits, and economic impacts resulting from refurbishment projects at OPG's Darlington Nuclear Generating Station and Bruce Power.
Bruce Power Manager of Communications and Media Relations, John Peevers, says the report is a benefit to nuclear facilities around the world. He says that the information is shared so that safety and efficiency can be improved not just at Bruce Power - but everywhere.
Safety improvements, cost effectiveness, and waste management are examples of topics discussed in the report.
Peevers says that the report helps Ontario businesses and families to save money on their hydro bills by making sure that Bruce Power is running as efficiently as possible.
