18-year-old Pearson has a Div. 1 commitment

The Owen Sound Attack have added another forward to the organization.

The Attack acquired right-winer Kaleb Pearson from the Flint Firebirds in exchange for a conditional 15th-round draft pick in 2021, the club announced yesterday.

Pearson, a St. Mary's, Ont. native, had 39 goals and 28 assists in 49 games with the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League's Stratford Warriors during the 2017-18 season.

“We’re very excited to have Kaleb on board with the team this year,” says Attack General Manager Dale DeGray. “The scouts and I are looking forward to seeing what he can do at training camp this week.”

The 18-year-old was named to the Ontario Hockey Assocation's top prospect team for 2017-18.

Pearson currently has a commitment to play NCAA Division 1 hockey on a scholarship at Rochester Institute of Technology starting in the fall of 2019.
