More Stunt Driving On Bruce Peninsula

Owen Sound | by Kevin Bernard

OPP have charged six people with stunt driving and 44 others with speeding.

Six more stunt drivers have been hauled off the road on the Bruce Peninsula.

Over the weekend,  Bruce Peninsula OPP charged 6 people with driving 50 kmh or more over the posted speed limit.

There were 44 other drivers charged with speeding, 3 charged with passing when the road is not clear of approaching traffic and 1 driver was charged with failing to slow down and proceed with caution for an emergency vehicle.

Interim Detachment Commander - Staff Sergeant Paul Richardson says the traffic enforcement event is part of the Bruce Peninsula OPP's zero tolerance for those operating a vehicle on highway 6 in an unsafe manner.
