Two Stabbing Incidents In A Week In Owen Sound.

Police report two men were cut in the latest incident downtown on Sunday.

For the second time in less than a week, Owen Sound police are reporting a stabbing in the downtown area.

The latest incident happened around 10:30pm on Sunday.

Police say two adults were stabbed with a small pocket knife by a young person following a verbal dispute. 

The two victims, and the assailant all suffered minor injuries.

Police have arrested a young person on two counts of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failing to comply with a sentence order. 

Owen Sound police continue to investigate and ask anyone with info to call them or crime stoppers.

Meanwhile, we told you earlier about a man who was assaulted by a man with a knife in the 200 block of 9th street east.

That incident was on August 2nd about 2 in the morning.

Police say after a brief exchange of words one man pulled out a knife and slashed at the victim cutting the victim's forearm. 

The assailant then fled the area, while the victim went to hospital for a deep cut to his forearm.

No word on whether any arrest has been made in that case.
